On September 16, 2025, the final of the 2025 8th Yangtze River Delta International Innovation Challenge (Anhui Division) was grandly held at the Anhui Innovation Pavilion. The competition was hosted by the Department of Science and Technology of Anhui Province and organized by the Anhui Provincial Center for the Promotion of Scientific and Technological Achievements. It was co-organized by Anhui Zhilian Gaoke Productivity Promotion Center Co., Ltd., the Anhui Innovation Pavilion, and the International Institute of Finance.

Since its launch, this year's competition has publicly released 107 technology demands, covering cutting-edge fields such as new energy vehicles, biomedicine, and new materials, fully demonstrating the vitality and achievements of Anhui's scientific and technological innovation. After multiple rounds of selection, 20 high-quality projects advanced to the on-site final. Following fierce competition, the event ultimately selected one first prize, two second prizes, three third prizes and four excellence awards.

The successful hosting of this competition represents the implementation of the Yangtze River Delta Science and Technology Innovation Community construction, and serves for the strategic positioning of Anhui's "Three Key Areas and One Pilot Zone" and the "6178" modern industrial system (which focuses on 6 pillar industries, 1 emerging industry, 7 strategic emerging industries, and 8 future industries) layout. The event has not only established an open, collaborative, and focused innovation platform but also become an important window showcasing Anhui's open innovation ecosystem, pooling global expertise, and supporting high-quality development. It has injected new momentum into promoting cross-regional flow of technology factors, accelerating the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and fostering future industries.
