On September 29,2024, the International Finance Institute (IIF) organized a review conference to evaluate enterprises and projects applying for incubation at its Science Innovation Center and Changfeng Sci-Tech Base. The event brought together academic experts from affiliated institutions and seasoned investment management professionals as review panelists.
Aligned with IIF’s mission to drive local economic and technological advancement, the Science Innovation Center conducted rigorous screening of numerous applications across strategic sectors. Seven shortlisted teams and enterprises – spanning fields including new material R&D, chip design, AI technology applications, big data analytics, and disruptive technical platforms – advanced to the final review stage.
During the conference, each candidate team delivered structured presentations under a "5+3" format: 5-minute project demonstrations followed by 3-minute expert Q&A sessions. Reviewers assessed submissions based on five key criteria: entrepreneurial team competency, investment value potential, goal feasibility, project innovation, and market viability. Panelists conducted targeted inquiries after each presentation, applying standardized incubation eligibility benchmarks and evaluating project maturity through independent blind voting.
The review process highlighted distinctive technical strengths across participating teams, with experts providing granular feedback and quantitative scoring. Under official oversight, IIF staff compiled evaluation results, which will undergo institutional approval procedures before public release in accordance with IIF regulations.
